HÖWLER is a thrash metal band from Costa Rica. It was formed in 2013 after the merger of Inhaler
and the predecessor of Höwler. Their energetic thrash metal, enriched with classic heavy metal
elements, simply convinces with ist quality.
This has already impressed the national and international press on the CD „No More Circus“, also
released on Ragnarök Records, and rewarded it with an average rating of 8.5/10 points. And
„Descendants Of Evil“ is even stronger in terms of songwriting, mixing and mastering, which was
done by none other than Martin Furia of Destruction. In addition, the iconic artwork by Dan
Goldsworthy, which is completely in tradition to the thrash metal classics „Rust in Peace“ by
Megadeth, or „The Underworld“ by Evildead, designed by Edward J. Repka. The listener gets these
expectations also
From the furious opener „New World Disorder“ over the more complex „The Last Days“ to the party
feeling of „Live to Party, Party to Live“.
HÖWLER has played live in nearly every region of Costa Rica. Additional performances in Mexico,
Panama, Nicaragua and Honduras, where they have shared the stage with bands like DRI, Wiplash,
Angelus Apatrida, Solstice and Thrash or Die, are also on their resume. Furthermore, HÖWLER were
nominated in Spain as „Best Costa Rican Band“ for the Independent Music Awards.
